Insurance Reimbursement & Discounts

Insurance Reimbursement Many insurance plans cover acupuncture. We will be happy to check this for you.  If it does not, you are responsible for payment in full at the time of service.  You are also responsible for payment in full for any service such as cupping, moxibustion, etc. that may not be covered by your insurance.

25% Discount for Payment at Time of Service A 25% discount off the usual fees for all services except a new patient exam (which is discounted at 40% ) will be given if payment is received in full the day of treatment.  This discount does not include herbs or other therapeutic items purchased.

50% Discount for Payment at Time of Service for Qualified Hardship includes the following categories:

Full-Time Students This is a student over the age of 17 who is not receiving insurance benefits through a parent or guardian.  The student should bring a valid student photo ID to the first appointment.

Seniors over 65 Any person age 65 and older.

Military Personnel and Immediate Family This includes members of the military who are on active duty as well as their spouses and children under 18.  Proof of active duty should be presented at the first appointment.

Veterans This a person who has been a member of the military at any time.  This does not include family or spouses.  Proof of veteran status must be presented at the first appointment.

Qualified Hardship This includes people who are temporarily unemployed or at or below poverty level.  Proof of unemployment benefits or last year’s tax return should be brought to the first appointment to qualify for this discount
