Stroke Rehabilitation

Acupuncture is used simultaneously with physical therapy and medication for stroke victims in China, Korea, and Japan.  Watch the trailer for 9000 Needles, a moving documentary about Devin Dearth, a businessman and bodybuilder from Kentucky, who suffered a stroke and was sent home as a vegetable.  After an intensive three-month rehabilitation program including acupuncture in China, he was able to regain some mobility and intelligabilty.
